Growers & businesses of Chittering, Gingin, Bindoon, Dandaragan & Moora are welcome to attend to our first event focused on collaboration & planning.
Brett Heather – has a vast international & local experience in the horticultural industry, will be talking about the advantages & challenges of cooperation & collaboration. Mr Heather currently works at WA Farm Direct, as the CEO of Western Citrus Alliance.
John Noonan – wo has extensive farming management experience will be sharing with us his perspective on planning. Mr Noonan is a key researcher, lecturer & program coordinator at Curtin University in agricultural extension & outreach, farm business management & resilience, quality assurance & food safety, & Enviromental Management (EMSs) for food & fibre value chains.
Peter Protiano – manager at Michael Brothers which is a cold press juice factory & cidery at Caversham, Swan Valley will be sharing their story as young food & beverages entrepreneurs.
We are finishing the event with a cider tasting with Funk Cider by Michael Brothers.
