West Midlands Group (WMG) is one of Western Australia's leading grower groups based in Dandaragan, WA. The not-for-profit, membership group represents farmers and communities of the high rainfall area of the Northern Agricultural Region.
WMG provides a local focus on crop and pasture research, natural resource management and the role of community in agriculture.
WMG is seeking a motivated and passionate leader to manage the group's activities and staff.
The appointee will be responsible for managing the strategic planning and day to day operations of the organization's three program areas: Agricultural R&D, Natural Resource Management and Women's programs. This involves effectively managing the organisation's administration, corporate and industry partnerships, membership, staff, project development and events.
The Executive Officer will require: leadership and management skills; project/ program development and management experience; excellent communication skills; and relevant qualifications in agriculture or business. Experience within the agricultural sector is highly desirable.
A salary package commensurate with experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
