NACC’s Sustainable Agriculture Small Rural Properties Soil Sampling Grant is NOW open

NACC’s Sustainable Agriculture Small Rural Properties

Soil Sampling Grants are now open!

Project applications must be received by 5pm Monday 11th December 2017.

Open to small rural landowners/managers (1 to 400ha) in the Northern Agricultural Region.

Are you concerned about the health of your soils? Are you curious as to what is in your soils? Are your pastures or crops not looking the best? Do you want to get more out of them but not sure what to do? This grant can help you.

Successful grant applicants will have a qualified person visit their property and take soil samples. Whilst they are there they will have a chat to you about what you are doing with your paddocks. The soil samples will be sent off and analysed.

The interpretation of these results and advice on what you should be doing to increase your soil health will come back to you and NACC.
