Protecting Vegetation in Coorow Shire

Project End Date: June 2012

 

Project Aim: The West Midlands Group will work with farmers, James and Rebecca Raffan to:

 

  • Erect 3.5km of fencing to create a wildlife corridor linking two areas of remnant vegetation to protect 27ha remnant bush

     

  • Create a voluntary site management agreement detailing short and long term measures to actively conserve the site

     

  • Establish photo monitoring stations for the site and take the first set of photos in order to provide baseline photographic data

     

  • Publicise results achieved in local and regional media.
